random thoughts in perpetual motion

I think It might finally be starting to seep into my subconscious.
Getting the better of my imagination.
Tonight I ran past some creepy Hasidic Jew taking out his garbage after dark. Except something about his blank stare and the fake, almost novelty-store quality of his salt and pepper beard made me feel like I wouldn't want to look inside that thin garbage bag.
(The same way I always think bags strewn in the middle of the road have dead animals or worse in them, which is why I always avoid them when possible)
Anyway, he unsettled me. Glad I had my headphones and was already hauling ass.
It's always something. You know it's always something. Quite timely, Cage the Elephant.
And that's another thing. How convenient that one of the few songs that tugs at my heartstrings on this album on random would start the second I ran into my old alley, which I always do when I'm in the neighbourhood. For Tigger. For old time's sake.
How convenient.
If I wasn't already an hour in, I might have stopped for a minute to cry.
